This is a very rare fully functional ‘Fliegerdrehstütze 36’ pedestal mount for the German MG34 and MG42. These were mounted in coastal fortifications, vehicles and they have also been photographed in use on the rear deck of the ‘Jagdtiger’ tank destroyer.
