WWII US M1 GARNAD BAYONET & SCABBARD

This is a WWIl manufactured US M1 Garand bayonet with its correct scabbard. The bayonet was made by UFH - Union Fork and Hoe, Columbus, OH, who were contarcted during WWil by the US Government to make the M1 bayonets, producing 460,000 from 1942 to 1944. The scabbard has what looks to be an impact and burn mark caused by a shrapnel strike.
